Our hotel sits on the Sacajawea Bike Trail. It is a 24 mile long walking/riding trail that loops around the Columbia River. Cool Stuff!

Did You Know?
The History of Clover Island
Clover Island was part of five small islands that were 21.8 acres of land within the middle of the Columbia River in the year 1907. These small islands were covered with wild sweet clover (hence, we named our Island).
The islands were used by the local Indians for their Pow Wow Muk Chuk which means “Big Feast” – where you can hold your own POW Wow Muk Chuk. Princess Sacajawea, Lewis and Clark held their big feast on our Island and signed treaties relating to the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
In 1953, Ice Harbor and McNary Dams were built and flooded the island. The Port of Kennewick raised, graded and reshaped the island.
Since then, barges and other ships were brought here for transportation and grain shipments.
