October 25, Thursday

1:00 pm – 6:00 pm Check-in, registration we can tune your electronics
5:00 pm Supper
6:00 pm Introductions, Course overview (conference room)
6:30 pm Understanding Sonar
8:00 pm Building a Fishing Game Plan

October 26, Friday

7:00 am Breakfast
7:45 Locations, maps and presentations (conference room)
8:00 am –12:00 Fishing free time – sign up for One on One training sessions
12:00 pm Lunch
12:45 pm Discussion on morning fishing results, review sonar screen shots
Adjustments and planning for the afternoon (conference room)
1:45-6 pm Fishing free time– sign up for One on One training sessions
6:00 pm Supper and Social Hour

After supper Review fishing results and fishing data discussion, review sonar screen shots, plan for Saturday’s fishing.

October 27, Saturday

FAQs | 2018 Columbia River Walleye School

Q – Is there a rate if I do not need lodging at Clover Island Inn?
A – Yes there is, contact Clover Island Inn for details.

Q – What if I do not have or cannot bring a boat, can I still attend?
A – Yes you can. We will have a way to get you in boat for the class. You may be asked to contribute some gas money, but you will get on the water in a boat.

Q – I am not the most seasoned walleye angler, my gear is older, and I am not sure of my knowledge level, will the class be over my head?
A – No it will not. We will have several teachers there and the amount of one on one time will be catered to your gear and level of experience.

Q – How much time will be personal instruction?
A – There will be a minimum of 4 teachers there for a 30 person class. Depending on the number of boats attending, each boat should get a minimum of 2 separate one hour sessions in their boat. As boat numbers increase, we will add teachers so everyone gets what they need. You will learn what you want to learn in these sessions, they are yours, not ours.
